Cube Contacts erased every time

I recently updated my phone to add gps and revA. Since then my contact shortcuts on the cube, and my HHC contacts tab are erased every time my phone turns off.

I have searched here, xda, and google, and I have not found an answer.

Any ideas?

You aren't the only one. This happens to me. I am running the HTC released rev A GPS rom too. I use my phone in landscape mode, so I never use the cube. But it happens with he contacts tab.

My solution. Forget it. Hit the green button and start typing the name of the person I want to call. It shows me one or two names that i choose from after a couple of letters.

The convenience of the contacts tab is incredibly important to me, especially when I am driving and I can't focus on my phone.

edit -> just noticed another bug that might be related to my contacts issue. When i go into my call history, it is by default set to display only missed calls. I prefer it to display all calls, so i change the filter. As soon as I close it (just close the window, but it is still running in task manager) it loses this preference. Without truly closing the program or restarting the phone it defaults back to only displaying missed calls.

i'm having the exact same problem with my HTC contacts. it's driving me nuts!!!

I am going to try a new rom, and see if that helps. I am not sure which one though.

If you guys are using the stock roms, they most likely have a provxml file that resets the information when you soft reset. Which rom and I can look into it and make a dummy xml file that you can copy over the offensive one with resco and stop the nonsense.

follow link, redownload original files, and install...had the same problem with 2 of my previous Vogue's, and that's what I did to get rid of it.
