HTML Email for Sprint Touch

Would there be any reason why the "Message Format" option in Email options is grayed out and only shows "plain text" as an option? I thought WM6.0 + supported HTML email?

And the article does not refer to MS Exchange 07 as a requirement.

Anyone else have this issue or am I the lucky one?
