autocorrect bar

ok so this really annoys me, i disabled everything i could find about autocorrection and all that, but i still get this black bar on some things coming up correcting me and just being annoying lol. Anyone know how to get rid of this?

try going into the options under the keyboard selection, select the keyboard input you are using, select options , select xt9 settings and see if that helps

I'm having the same issue. I turned off everything in the XT9 settings and turned off "Turn on one-touch symbol entry". Soft reset. I'm still getting the bar. I didn't have it before, but now I can't get rid of it.

Ah, it was so simple... I was making more complicated than necessary.

I accidentally hit the "T9/ABC" button on the Full Qwerty keyboard. I just pressed it again so that "ABC" is bold and I haven't seen it again since.

You can also go to start> settings> input> word completion. uncheck all the boxes.
