Sprint help!!

My phone is not linking to sprint! I tried to make a call and the recorded voice told me " your verizon phone is not in service please try your call again later" I HAVE A SPRINT PHONE! I did a hard reset and soft reset and nothing worked anyone have any ideas? PLEASE HELP!

Is your phone set to Roam Only? I use the roam only feature on my phone when I am at the house and from time to time I will have problems when I run out of network and forget to switch it back.

try reprogramming the unit

You need to contact Sprint Advanced Technical Support. The phone needs it's Home Location Register updated and possibly a change in their system. Mine did this right after the radio upgrade. It will work fine on the Sprint system, but on any roaming system (Verizon or other) it will not authenticate. When you call tech support, ask for 'Aircard' at the prompts to get to advanced tech suppot. The other folks should know how to do this, but it isn't on their troubleshooting script, so they will not want to do it.

Do you live in the NYC metro area? I live in the northern suburbs and I was stuck on roaming most of the morning.
