Re: Any Free Service to Sync and back up to Web?

I have only free mail2web accounts, and the LIVE account pulls in my gmail account, and delivers it to my phone via Outlook/push mail. As far as that FAQ, my guess is that the LIVE account cannot be ACCESSED via pop/imap etc. Hope that helps. For what it's worth my mail2web settings are cooked into my ROM so I can hard reset and have all contacts back in a matter of minutes, if you go ahead with the mail2web stuff and wanna cook it in let me know.

I've been with Dashwire for a while. Although it does not sync your calendar, it does sync your contacts, txt msgs, pix, videos and even voicemail if you want to pay Sprint an extra fee for forwarding unanswered calls... Dashwire itself is totally free, though.

Re: Any Free Service to Sync and back up to Web?

I also use the free mail2web exchange account and cook the settings into my rom. I use gmail as my aggressor and forward all my messages to my mail2web account. This way I have local access to all my messages on my phone and web access though the phone or pc. I have done this for about 2 years now. Could not be happier.

not yet the site looks soo simple that it looks like a scam site...but im reading reviews and blogs of ppl praising this as a great service... what i like about it is its simplicity ...its like an exchange server.... and u can still use only the tools and emails you are used too... no need to open another email web portal to check...

im happy with gmail when im away and outlook when im home... and both syncs to each other via nuevasync...
