Problem with contacts

I managed to get my phone flashed and working great with 1 exception: now, when I click on Contacts nothing happens. All of my contacts are still in my phone, and my mvc will still dial them, but I can't bring them up manually. Is there a fix to this?

Thanks

Re: Problem with contacts

You can always try a 3rd party app.
ContactManager.zip
iContact.zip
Maybe if you dont like either of them when you uninstall it your PPC will default back to the OG contact manager.

Re: Problem with contacts

Or you can try SoftKeyAppletEx.zip and remap your softkey.

To use this just unzip it and make sure you have "View all files" checked in your file exsplorer copy the SoftKeyAppletEx.cpl and place it in your windows folder. Wait 20 or so seconds and reset your PPC. Now just go to your settings - system and youll see the SoftKeyApplet.

Re: Problem with contacts

Had this problem also and another guy on here had the same. Just reflash it and depending on what you use to backup all contacts should be back!!

Re: Problem with contacts

Thanks. I tried the soft key remap and it seems that for some reason my right soft key won't work for some reason. Looks like I will just use one of the aftermarket programs to get access to my contacts.
