New to Touch..Couple Q's

Hey all..Just ebayed myself a Telus Touch..
I'm interested in customizing it and what not but I'm not sure exactly where to start.
I've upgraded my Touch to Windows 6.1 via the official ROM from HTC/Telus and I now have a Radio version of 3.41.
Am I able to use ImCokeman's 2.31 unlocker so that I will be able to flash it?
Also, after I have it unlocked, are there any highly recommended ROM's for Telus that I could flash?

Oh there are TONS of stuff here.
As far as ROMs go, it depends on who you talk to that will tell you which ones they like. Best I can say is try a few and go with the one you like best.
As far as other customizations, there are threads that deal with just about every aspect; if you use S2U2 there's a thread on customizing that, HTC Home Customizer, even the startup animation and splash screen.....
