Live Search Voice Recognition over BlueTooth

I recently upgraded from an Apache to a Touch. I was using LennySH's 19213 ROM on my Apache. I installed and used Live Search for many months. After the last Live Search update I noticed that the Voice Recognition Speak button worked over bluetooth. So when you press Speak on Live Search the Bluetooth headset would wake up and you would talk into the headset instead of the phone mic.

My Touch does not work over bluetooth. When I press speak it runs through the phone mic instead. Is there a reg tweak or something to make it work over bluetooth?

Maybe Lenny had a tweak??

I found some more information. I am not crazy it is a "feature" of Live search. According to Microsoft this feature works on "select devices"

When I installed the software on my Apache something triggered it to enable audio over Bluetooth. The Touch doesn't trigger the same thing. I decided to Cook a newer ROM for my Touch hoping this would trigger the function to work but to no avail.

Does anyone out there have Live Search installed? If you press Speak does it turn on your BT Headset? If so what ROM are you running?

Anyone figured out how to get Live Search voice recognition to work with a bluetooth headset on the Sprint Touch? I'm using the stock Sprint ROM. Thanks!

Nope, I have to manually trigger acbToggleBT to get it to work.
