If you had it for less than a year, you can still use the warranty on it... Receipt is a plus.

Well, you could do something called insurance fraud. I think its rather immoral, but YMMV
But it does involve risks and waiting 1 month. Call and add TEP to your plan. After a month you can say you lost it, which means you pay $50 and get a new one.

Verizon doesn't allow insurance to be added after 7 days of purchase. At lease not in the Connecticut.

Found a couple of touches on ebay for less than $100 that claim to have clean ESNs.
Based on some of these prices I'm not gonna spend more than $150 on ebay. Guy at the sprint stand said he could push an upgrade on my brothers line for $100 but my brother said no. |
