problem watching videos

I am not sure, but since I changed to the 6.1 ROM it seems that videos all have a black border around the periphery (especially noted in the landscape view). I thought it used to play FULL screen...is this normal? Also, how come I can't get the video flash bundle that I downloaded on here with the TMPCP program to work on the 6.1...is that possible? or is there a better way to watch the videos...
