Regular Micro SDCard not reconized at all

So, since Android will not work on a SDHC MicroCard, I decided to dig out the regular Micro SDCard that is 512mb. My Touch will not reconize that 512 card at all......any ideas?

Did you try to format the card on your pc using sd adapter?
