Quick Question

Does anyone know how to turn off the keypad tones in the registry? I've looked but can't seem to find which one it is. Thanks!

Re: Quick Question

If it is the dialpad you're referring to, it's actually quite simple to do without the registry.

Just hit the phone key and go to Menu/Options and disable the tones.

Now if you want to know the registry so that you can make a ROM that has them disabled by default then that's another story all together. I would check the dialer OEM.

Yeah, I wanted to try and build it into my ROM. I'll give the dialer a look.

Re: Quick Question

Turns out my dialer was already built into the donor ROM I am using. So I don't have access to it as an OEM. Do you have any idea where the dialer registry values are normally located?
