Live Search Error

every time i start live search on my touch i get a message saying an unexpected error has occured in liveserch.exe its annoying me. i have the sprint touch with the wm6.1 official rom. it was working fine before on the old rom. now it seems not to be working. gps and everything works fine its just live search keeps getting an error message. please help

Works fine with my 6.1, try uninstalling and reinstalling

I tried that and it happens again. It keeps saying something about missing files.

1) did you say you have a Sprint touch with gps?

2) when you install from the cab file, it may be installing in a different location, rather than overwriting the old files. browse around in file explorer, and see what happens when you try launching the exe directly. check in program files. if that does work, then create or edit your shortcut to point to the proper place. also try deleting wlsdata on the storage card if you have that.

aye thanks alot.. that worked.. i removed the storage card and it worked. i deleted live search from the storage card and reinstalled it to the phone.. i dont know how it got to the storage card
