Move "Date" further down into today screen.. How??

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today.
How do I move the "Date" folder from Today to down into the Items so I can move the date further down in the plugin? I added a "Date" folder in the Items folder but it is still fixed...

Re: Move "Date" further down into today screen.. How??

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\ Date

change "type" to 4

Of course this doesn't work on the new ROM.

The date is fixed ^ here.

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items \ Date"
I have changed all types from 5 to 4 already. Date does not even have a tpye in it. I added this dword along with the other dwords that all others have but it doesn't change anything.
And yes I'm running the new rom, this is why I can't get it...

Re: Move "Date" further down into today screen.. How??

The Date item seems to have been changed to a siple 1/0 binary value found in the Today registry folder. 1 for there, 0 for not there, and changing it does nothing.

Do you happen to have a screenshot? I've seem to have stripped this from mine, but under:

HKLM\software\microsoft\today\items\date

There should be a value named "Order" This is the reg setting that controls the position of the plugin on the today screen. (as long as the value isn't 5, then it's locked).

Or you just could go into startment - settings - personal - today and move them up and down.

The date entry does not have "Order" and you can not move it up/down in the Today Settings. Sorry.
