USB charge on the touch

Does anyone know how to turn it off?

There wasn't any option in the connection tools or the power settings.

Is there a registry edit for it?

why wouldnt you want your phone to be charging while its plugged into the computer?

Sometimes when i tether my battery is at 60-90% ( Basically i don't want to charge my phones at those time). That's why i want to disable the usb charge

Try:

Registry Key: HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Usbfndrv\EnableUsbCharging
Value: 0 (to turn off) or 1 (to turn on)

Ok, I'm assuming that you have a reason to do this other than battery life.

Just in case it's not: LIon batteries last longer when they're "topped off".

Deep discharging them lowers both their capacity and lifespan.

heh, I thought your laptop's battery was 60-90% and you did not want to drain your laptop's battery by tethering. Thanks for clarifying.
