Live Search Categories

Hello,
I have been searching the forums for a few days now and no solution.
My problem, and I'v been having it for a few months now, is with Live Search. It runs just fine, maps with GPS works, Gas Prices, Traffic, Web, Movies. However, when I try to run Categories it goes to the screen with the green circle turning clock wise saying "updating category list..." and I get the following error "Category Update Error" "Sorry, we couldn't update the category list. Please check your network connection".
I know my connection is good it works with the rest of the features of live search, and with all the other programs. I'm currently running OMJ's full custom ROM, but I know it's not that cause I'v flashed other roms and it still doesn't work. Recently I had to send in my phone due to screen issues and I got a new one, and I still had the same problem with it. I dont see anyone else having this problem. Is there something I'v missed? Also I am running the latest version 3.0.3047.24749.

I was having this problem also. Find the cache folder. Mine was set to save all cache files to the storage card, the folder is called "Live Search" in the root directory, delete it. This fixed my problem.

I was reluctant to delete the cache as I believed it contained my stored favorite locations. So I unchecked Cache to Storage Card and checked it again and my problem was fixed.

Start Live Search > Menu > Settings > Uncheck Cache to Storage Card > Done

Repeate to check
