Yahoo Go! trouble accessing GPS hardware

I use Yahoo Go alot, especially the maps because you can search for types of businesses around where you are right now using gps. Like if I am driving thru westwood and I'm looking for a place to eat I can look up where's the nearest Thai restaurants to me right now? And it shows them on the map and ratings and reviews, and then I find the one I like and I can just click on the phone number and it calls and I find out how busy they are. Anyway, its pretty cool and useful. But back to my problem, alot of times Yahoo Go is saying it can't access my GPS hardware, so I have to exit it and open again, sometimes it still doesn't connect and I have to restart the phone. Why? Is there a way to fix this so it connects to my builtin gps everytime?

Re: Yahoo Go! trouble accessing GPS hardware

I've found that if I use WMMiniGPS first, have it locate me, then close it, then all my programs including YahooGo will be able to access the GPS hardware without issue. This works until you put the phone in standby, after which the phone will return to intermittent success allowing hardware access to the GPS device.
