email button barely works

Good morning and thanks ahead of the time for the help(thanks will be given)

i recently purchased my touch on sunday(loving it), immediatly upgraded to 6.1 and that is it.

my biggest and only gripe that i have is that if i check my email once i usually always have to give it a colonoscopy(soft reset) to be able to go back. i can hit it a million times, close all running apps, and try to get to email through the longer alternative options and i still have no luck.

i figured there would be an easy way to correct this but i searched and found no goodness...

this is still an on going problem. it has gotten so bad that now evety time i use my email i prety much have to soft restart my phone in order to get the button working again

i usually minimize the messages app by clicking on the x and not holding it down so it wont close since i frequently check my email and by closing it and opening it all the time seems to delay when launching it again...so i would say leave it open and dont close it.only minimize it

damn i have the option for when i tap X it closes automatically. i havent put the phone to the test to see how many apps it can handle at a time but i never really wanted to either. maybe i will have to go back and leave it open

do you have large attachments? try deleting all your accounts, see if it works, and then add each account back. try changing the settings for message sizes and attachments to see if that helps.

ok i have 2 gmail accounts(work and personal)
and one hotmail(junk)

it let me delete my work one with no problems but it wont let me delete the other two. the hotmail one has delete greyed out and the gmail one has a solid delete but when i hit the button nothing happens.

is there another way to delete these accounts??? i am about to punt this btch out the window.

not 100%, but i think if you have windows live installed, it won't let you delete the live account (i think thats your hotmail)

Colonoscopy....LOL....I never thought of it like that before
