Phone radio dead after using GPS

i cant make, or receive calls after using GPS.. (even if i close all applications that used the GPS)
the only way to get it back again, is to turn off the phone (for a long time... 5 minutes doesn't cut it...)
what is going on.. this did not happen before.. just noticed it

using sprint 6.1 stock rom on my htc touch
