funny, its an answer to my post from another topic... man i forget things fast.... thanks...
ok, so i have gpsmode set to 1, GPS only... assisted gps to 0, smart to 0... i soft reset... and satellites bounce around... but no lock... i tried popping out the battery for 5 mins and starting back up, but nothing... i wish the GPS worked.... would be usefull... i can never count on it... not a good tool pj |

Yea, I attempted to disable the agps client for a minute, and it also didn't function. In fact, even with the agps client enabled, it jumps around (accuracy maybe to 100 ft). Pretty terrible compared to my holux gpslim 240.

When you see satellites but no fix in GPSViewer I have found that I can get a fix if I push the top button to shut off for a few seconds and then push to turn back on.(Not shut unit down just to sleep). See if this will pop them to fix. It works sometimes for me. GOOD LUCK
