It's a feature of VC...my 700wx did that right out of the box. It'll announce incoming calls, appointments, etc. It's easily changed in your settings.

Go to Settings > Personal > Voice Command.

Highlight Calendar, and either uncheck it, or click options and uncheck "Announce Calendar Reminders".

Or just disable Voice command altogether.

I don't mind it, it just shocked the hell outta me. I thought god was reminding me about my meeting. I've never used voice command before.
