Re: Shot a vid with my Touch...won't play on my PC?
There are 2 things you could do:
1. Install VLC Player (free). It will play MP4's. 2. Change the Settings in the camera. Set the camera to Video and go to Settings in the lower right corner. Go to the right tab and select Capture Format. Set it to Motion JPEG. Now when you take a video it will save it in the *.AVI format and will play in Windows Media Player. Enjoy. Thanks are always appreciated. |

Re: Shot a vid with my Touch...won't play on my PC?
if you want i'll send you a copy of a video encoding program i have... its pretty easy to take the file, drag it into the program and then select how you want to convert it. What video codec you want and you can even resize it.
ALso i would recommend getting KLCodecs its a pack that contains pretty much all video codecs and it comes with MPC Media Player Classic, a nice stripped down version of a media player that takes up much less resources. During the install you can click not to install MPC if you just want codecs. |

i would just install both realplayer at www.real.com and also itunes with quicktime (yes the combo package) and then all should be fine.

Re: Shot a vid with my Touch...won't play on my PC?
or try videolan.org but real player has the support out of the box and i dont see whats wrong with real player now that Microsoft and Real are working together to develope real player. so basically real is now an offspring of Media Player but in drag |
