Microsoft Voice Command - activate via wired headset?

hi,

has someone figured out how to enable Microsoft Voice Command using the wired headset on the HTC Touch?

That really depends on the headset. Typically, with most headsets, the talk button, when held, will activate VC.

Yeah, that's how it should be. The WM treos work that way - button on the headset activates MSVC.

On my touch though the headset button does not activate MSVC, it just acts like the green talk button (bringing up the dialer, calling last number, etc).

I've resigned myself to it (tried to get it to work back when I installed MSVC) and now use a bluetooth headset instead.

I'm using the headset that came with the touch.
Holding the headset's button starts voice command, but not Microsoft Voice Command. The stock voice command is crap, because you have to prerecord everything and it still doesn't work as well as Microsoft Voice command does. I tried turning off the default voice command, but Microsoft Voice command still doesn't taker over.
