Re: Yahoo E-mail problem/Question
if u let your phone setup your account automatically .. it sets up yahoo account as imap4 which is wrong.. needs to be pop3 .... initially put in yahoo1.net then when it asks to look online for setup hit no.. then manually put in the incoming/outgoing servers... then when done go back and update to yahoo.com

Re: Yahoo E-mail problem/Question
I just set my touch up late last week with 6.1 and have two separate yahoo email accounts on it. I let both configure automatically, and both send and receive emails fine. Perhaps you set yours up before then?? If so, I'd recommend removing and then setting up the yahoo account again.

Re: Yahoo E-mail problem/Question
I found for some reason when I save my password, that when I go back and check it it is entered 3 times. I have a 6 character password and when I check there are 18 characters entered. When I uncheck save password it prompts me for my password every time but works. BTW it set up automatically as Imap and does work.

Re: Yahoo E-mail problem/Question
This is for the OP, are you using an ISP, and then accessing Yahoo through the ISP? I ask because many ISP's (mine included) will not let you send email via a mobile device. It has something to do w/ spam prevention. If this is the case, let me know. There is a workaround.

Re: Yahoo E-mail problem/Question
That I've done, quite awhile ago in fact, but the account still shows up. It is no longer in that settings list but is still part of my account picker
