Are these magnetic car holder safe ?

I want to buy a minimalist car holder for my Touch... I like the way those works but are they safe for my HTC Touch w/ a microSD card ? Will they erase or damage data stored on the phone/sd ?

Re: Are these magnetic car holder safe ?

lol...I can see it now. Nobody is going to want to do that to their device, so they stuff their pockets full of magnets and walk into a sprint store to see the latest and greatest phone

Re: Are these magnetic car holder safe ?

When it comes to flash memory like an SD card, it would take a magnet that can pull the lead out of your blood to erase one of these.
