HELP! No Ringtone Sound

I have had my touch since February, and I have never had a problem with it. I have the 6.1 sprint rom on it. Today, I went to change my incoming call ringtone in settings. When i pressed the play button, it didn't play any sound for any sounds and notifications. It also will nor let me x off that screen; I have to use the red button on the bottom to get it off. Now, my phone doesn't ring! Vibrates, but doesn't ring. I played music and sprint tv and my games, all sound fine. Just no ringing and I can't do anything to my sounds and notifications Any ideas?? I really do not want to hard reset...i tried soft resetting several times to no avail. I'm hoping I am missing something simple. TIA!!

i may have had the same problem, does your other volumes work? t.v, music

mine was a reg. hac
problem, i had no sound anywhere. couldnt even make phone calls. goodluck

Update...I have ONE sound on my phone that works. It has a Q on it and says it is an mp4. All of the rest of my ringtones say mp3. The sounds built into the phone for notifications don't work either. If i try to play any of them on the sounds page they don't play, and then I can't X the page off. But, that 1 ringtone works. They all worked up until today...this is very strange. Please help!

have you dl any new programs ? like opera 9.5 ?

It is interesting that you asked that...I didn't just download Opera 9.5, as I use Opera mini. I was looking through my programs just before this ringtone thing happened, and noticed I have two O symbols, and started playing with the regular opera browser...i assume that came with the sprint 6.1 rom and i never realized it? Anyhow, do you have any ideas what may have happened? Thanks!!!

There is a bug whit opera 9.5, with sounds and notifications, thougt maybe you dl it not knowing.
