Listening to music while the phone is on silent.

I work in an office, and like to listen to music using WMP on my Touch, but in order for me to do that, I have to turn my phone's sounds on.

Is there any way to leave the phone on silent but at the same time be able to listen to music through the headphones?

in the volume control, there are two bars you can adjust: the device volume (left) and the ringer volume (right). perhaps turn the ringer volume all the way down and turn the device volume up.

im pretty sure, not positive, that it would ring thru your headphones and not thru the loud speaker.

Here is an idea; go to settings, sounds and notifications, uncheck all boxes in sounds tab, go to notifications tab, incoming call: select none from drop down menu. I guess this would silent everything.
