What are verizon's PPP Settings? AND QPST won't write to my phone!

so i cant change my hdr an auth id, epst denies me and now qpst is too...


I can get in QPST fine, but i don't know/can't find online verizon's ppp settings.

'hdr an auth' should be mdn@vzw3g.com and pw set by dmu key, but what about 'um' etc? (blank?)

most importantly, however, if i try to change my 'hdr an' data in qpst, i get a write error (can't write an auth or ppp bla bla), if i try to leave everything blank in ppp settings i still get a write error (this time: can't write nv_sms_cd_parms_1[0])

scouring the internet has proven disappointing. any ideas? thanks in advance.

ps: if there is a ##776 reset for verizon would that work?
