Just tried this and didn't see the parameter. Here in Calgary Canada with Bell Touch mobile with latest upgrade. Guess Rev. A isn't here yet. |

I tried that when I tried to edit instead of view. No go for me.
It's here in Edmonton, so I doubt it isn't in Calgary yet. Mines says RevA=Enable.

Also I am pretty happy with my current phone setting with WM6 and 3.35 ROM. Is there any compelling reason to upgrade to the latest ROM? Sprint websites mentions the below upgrades: 1. Upgrades the operating system from Windows MobileĀ® 6.0 Professional to Windows MobileĀ® 6.1 Professional 2. Adds Sprint TV 3. Includes all enhancements incorporated in previous software upgrades including: EV-DO Rev. A functionality for faster download and upload speeds when utilizing data services wherever EV-DO Rev. A coverage is available Advanced GPS functionality including the Sprint Navigation application Adds a Task Manager to the Today screen for easier access and management of running programs Apart from rev.a I am fine with the existing ROM. Speeds attached Last edited by bones20; 08-28-2008 at 02:13 PM. Reason: Uploading speeds |

Re: How do you confirm Rev. A after upgrade?
This is from an article in PC Magazine:
"Sprint and Verizon already use the EVDO type of wireless broadband connection, but limit it to PC cards, while the cellphones use the much slower EV-DO Rev. 0. The speed jump is nearly double. Rev. 0 operates between 400 and 700 kbps while Rev. A bumps that up to 600 to 1400 kbps." So, if you do a speed test and get a dl faster than 700kbps, you're probably Rev A enabled. |
