unlocker .41

hi i got .41 onb my phone how do i get the new sprint rom can i flash to it or do i have to unlock it agian or use another unlocker

Well if you want to get to the new GPS ROM.. the Official Sprint ROM then you will need the 2.31 unlocker I believe

The official Sprint ROM requires 0.40 or 2.31 unlocker, 0.41 will brick your phone

0.41 will NOT brick your phone as it can be recovered, the 0.40 is what bricked people before their carrier released a rom (alltel flash on telus etc.) and the 2.31 is what should be used for GPS anyway so the rest is moot.

Can .40 be used to flash to GPS? or will that not work?

using 0.40 will relock your phone.....0.41 can't be used for the official rom as it's not GPS

Yeah i mean if i used .40 right now.. im already on 2.31 and a custom GPS rom that i made..
if i used .40 and then flashed to the official GPS rom would that relock me? or brick me?

It would brick you....becuase you can't flash to .40 before going to a non-gps rom first

Alright thats what I thought..
There is no current way to relock with you have a GPS rom with 2.31 correct?

Untrue, it would relock you. just don't flash pre-gps radios. The 0.40 might not like you're OS, but you can flash the new one from bootloader mode as long as it's a GPS for the right carrier you will be ok.
