What is the best free Registry editor to use?

I'm trying to change the start-up animation on my phone and need a good registry editor. Can anyone recommend a good editor?

**also, Im using Music-Flo, which allows me to map different buttons, do I still need to download a Registry editor or can I use music flo***

Re: What is the best free Registry editor to use?

I really like and exclusively use the registry editor from Resco. Though it is not free, it comes with Resco Explorer 2008 and it is an overall nice suite of apps, including file explorer, registry editor, ftp client, and more.

If cost is an issue, I would reccomend PHM Registry Editor.

I would have to go with PHM Registry Editor. It's a great free solution.

I use CE Registry (I think that's what it's called).
You use it from your desktop with the phone connected to the PC. I like it, it suites my needs

Not a big fan of PHM, I havent used the CE registry yet. Total Comander is ok and free. Resco reg edit is the best, touch scoll, lbigger icons, ease of opperation, 7 days free then $30.00!!!
