Re: Sprint's Touch: Overnight freezing, and my options
Ok, tho it sounds nasty, hard reset the phone.
Install NO applications on it and see if it still happens. If it does, you prob have defective phone. If it does NOT, you are having an application issue. GL with figuring which one is causing it.... |

Re: Sprint's Touch: Overnight freezing, and my options
to change opera mini to http mode go into tools>settings> in opera mini, and scroll down to see "protocol". Click on that and set it to http.
It would only ever crash while opera mini was running, never when it was off. Btw I aslo tried another Java (insight) but I did not like the keyboard in the insight java. The default java works much better except for the crashing in socket mode. |

Re: Sprint's Touch: Overnight freezing, and my options
Just noticed the same thing, freeze. My conclusion is it is not cooking (i have stock oem rom). I think its a charger issue. If i charge from an outlet with battery in phone it froze on two occasions. Last time it wiped out the battery charge (working on full charge when i crashed and woke up to a dead battery). could be spike in electricity from outlet, could be a gremlin from phone being on while charging. I am charging via usb now so I can monitor it.

Re: Sprint's Touch: Overnight freezing, and my options
Posting to say that I have not had a repeat of the freezing issue since getting a replacement phone.
Ridiculously sluggish at random times, but not freezing. |
