Strange Keyboard and Today Issue

I haven't installed anything in the last 48 hours, or more, and all of a sudden the keyboard icon (bottom middle) is on my today screen..

anyone have any ideas on how this could of happened, and how to get it off the today screen?

Have you tryed a soft reset ? T M Z

yeah, that was one of the first things I tried, it's really not too bothersome, jsut don't need it on the today screen, plus, don't know what's causing it to be there, and that's what bothers me

ok, just went to make a phone call, finished and went back to today screen and it's gone... it has been there for almost 24 hours and by making a simple phone call, it's gone.. strange

ok, even stranger, I open any app that uses the keyboard and it appears, close the app and it stays, go into phone dialer and out, hit green then red buttons, and it's gone
