AIM Beta Not Working Proper on 6900

Looking through all 11 pages and couldn't find the answer. I tried the AIM forums but no one responded. Everytime I load up their AIM and type it is just numbers, never letters. I don't have any extra keyboards installed or anything like that. I know it is still a BETA but it says on their site that it works properly for the Touch. I have the factory ROM installed and just some random weather programs and a few other random things install but nothing to do with that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

That happened to me too, i ended up using a different stock sprint keyboard and it worked, don't remember which but i know the 20 key worked for me

qwerty board works....20 and 12 do not for me

Yeah, the 20 and 12 is what I want to use. It takes to long to use the qwerty keyboard, just wondering if others experienced this problem as on their site it works fine with the Touch/6900. Thanks for the replies.

I had this problem, but it doesnt happen all the time.
Also, Aim beta runs really slow on my xv6900, anyone else running into this problem with this software?

did you try unchecking "one-touch symbol entry" or something to that effect, in the windows mobile input settings screen?

Yes, I have already tried that option as I read it somewhere on another thread when someone had a problem with the keyboard also but not the same software.

The AIM also runs pretty laggy for me but I have used IM+ in the past and just wasn't to impressed with it. wanted to give the AIM Beta a try but haven't had any real success yet.
