Windows Live Email not working

I use Windows live email to sync my hotmail account to my htc touch. It has worked flawlessly for months but now the past couple of days I get an error syncing say problems with server please try again later. Is anyone else having this problem? I have searched all the forums and cannot find any information about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yup same here.... mine started since i upgraded to windows 6.1......

I went a month going round and round with the window live tech support. They kept telling me to delete everything in the email folders. I deleted most but not all. Actually, it came to the point that the only items in there were the emails back and for to them. Well, finally I decided to delete everything and all is well again. I even have more email items in the Inbox and a total of more space being used than before the problem started, but give it a shot. Most other searches that I found also said to delete items out but didn't really say to get rid of everything.

what do you mean by deleting everything? Go on your pc and to Hotmail and delete everything from there? I downloaded Sprint's mobile email program and was able to get to my hotmail from there, but I like window live better. I even hard reset my phone and started from scracth and still can't get it to work!

So how did you get windows live to sync with hotmail again? I'm a little confused.

Sorry about that. Yes, I used my desktop PC to go to my account and delete everthing out of all folders. If there is something that you can't live without, then you may want to forward that to another email address temporarily.
