Touch -> PC Inet Share drops comm

I have a new Touch (Alltel) and I keep dropping my Internet Sharing Connection after about 2 to 13 minutes of use. The phonbe is two days old, no mods.

This is my only connection to the Internet and is VERY important to me,

My XP SP3 laptop was working just fine with my Razr 3m and dialup connection. Nothing has chnaged on the laptop,

The Internet connection on the phone works jsut fine even when the latop connection dies.

When the data stops between the two, I click on the Network Icon and nothing happens. As soon as I press DISCONNECT on the phone, the Network info pops up. If I press CONNECT again the connection works for another 2 to 13 minbutes.

I have spend hours with Alltel Tech support and Advance tech support with no luck.

Any ideas? Tomorrow I am going to get another Touch from Alltel but thought I would check here first.
