It connects to GPS fine, I can see the closest contact, I can go to the map screen and see exactly where I am, it also appears to update the weather, it's just not outputting the address on the today screen. Any ideas?

Hi Desh, try browsing to some highly populated area on the map, zoom down right onto some interstate highway and then from the map menu select "Show Address". If it shows the address properly for the highway, then it is possible that area you are in is not covered by the data source we use for street addresses. The data source we use is not as current/exhaustive as you would find in in-car navigation systems etc (other-wise GPSToday wouldn't be free).

Thanks

Re: GPS Weather

Thanks, that was indeed the problem. Oddly enough, the east half my neighborhood works, but the west does not. My house is 6 years old, I'd have guessed that yahoo (or is it google?) would have had these streets covered by now.

Re: GPS Weather

oh, since i'm subscribed to this tread, and it's seems to be somewhat on topic... I have noticed that the google maps website now has a "street view" which is cool, but it doesn't direct you to the correct address anymore.. the phone app seems to find the addy's right,
I was wondering what the telnav (or whichever one it was) van was driving around town for.. all decked out with camera's around it..

Re: GPS Weather

Hi,

I too would love to have a weather radar overlay on the map page. Nice program!

Thanks,

GP
