Is Sprint TV working on SERO?

i have sprint tv on my touch and i can watch all the primium channels just fine. i dont have a problem with the buffering either. sometimes the comedy central channels just die though. thats the only problem i have noticed though

I actually have the same problem and have no idea how to fix it Whenever I try to watch one of the basic channels, I get the same error about there not being subscription info available. I'm on the SERO500 plan.

Yea, the no subscription information available is a known problem with SERO plans and sprint tv, but I was just wondering if there was some sort of fix to this. Its sad too that the mobitv unlimited hack also stopped working. Slingbox is too expensive to buy for TV as I don't use it that much, its just a nice feature I wish to have.

orb is pretty good. it runs along with winamp. You can use it with your video and music library on your pc and if you have a tv tuner you can use that too. I have had difficulty streaming video very well for some reason but its great for music. I dont have a tuner so I cannot comment on that.

DDrake is right about contacting tech support. There is a patch that can be loaded once tech support sends it to you. after I did that, I had no problem getting the basic channels. One thing I learned is that you need to exit the TV program using the options menu in the lower right corner of the screen. Dont use the x in the upper corner. Using the x will cause problems with memory since the TV program stays memory resident. That seems to be unique to TV on the Touch and Mogul.

I don't know if it's going to exactly be just a patch, it might be a ensemble code they have to add on your account to make it Sprint TV capable. I don't work on SERO plans, but that's how it works on Blackberry's for their internet, GPS and such.

Anyways, I have a SERO plan and when I first got my Touch Sprint TV worked just fine. That was about 4 months ago. I got a lot of channels for what I thought was free since whenever I clicked a channel that wasn't, I canceled before it was going to charge me. However, Sprint actually billed me $7.99 for the 50 channels I was getting. Called and told them that the guy in the store said it would be free and they took the charge off.

Don't know if SERO plans come with any free channels, been scared to use the TV since getting charged. However, the first month I did use it, it worked GREAT. No problems buffering.

I'm on SERO and when I loaded the Sprint Rom update SprintTV worked flawlessly. But I can't get it to work on any other of the latest roms.

I did notice the new Sprint Rom has an updated cab for SprintTV, but I can't copy it since it's on the ROM. Does anyone know if it's possible to extract the cab from the rom?

so ure saying that after u contacted sprint they did something to ure account and it started working?
