Can someone recommend a fully functional today screen that looks good?

The htc home screen is nice and all but I just want a new look. Is there a today/home screen that has all the functions that the htc one has but looks better/different? I tried spb mobile shell but it slows the phone down and it's not really a today screen because you can x out of it. I also tried throttle launcher but that also slows the phone down. Any other suggestions? If possible, can you post a picture of your recommendation, Thanks

There's a ton of suggestions in the thread where Vogue geeks show off their Today Screens, here:

Re: Can someone recommend a fully functional today screen that looks good?

does the SPB Mobile Shell run over the home screen? or does it actually take the place of the home screen?
