Re: Good Car Mount - any suggestions?

i bought a logtech ipod holder w/speakers, (round in shape w/ flat bottem) for $20 at wal mart, bought an addaptor for the two line charge to hook up speakers $10 at radio shack. mounted to the dash with velcro. great for nav. and at breaks from work watch movies. you can hear nav directions over car radio ect, adjustable vol control. loose fit at 1st so i bought small round velco and stuck em on either side for a snugg fit. NOW LIVING GHETTO FAV!!!!!

I've the same question. Otherwise it looks like a real simple solution.

so let me get this straight, you somehow hooked up your phone to the car speakers? I was wondering about the same. I have a AUX input on my radio, which I usually use for my iPod. So, could I get some AUX splitter that allows me to hook up my iPod and phone to the speaker system?

Or how exactly did you do that?

Here's a good vent mount for $13 shipped.

seems like a good solution. It is hard to tell from the pictures though whether the USB port is still accessible.

You have to use a dash mount (or some other solution like a vent mount). I don't think a dash mount is necessarily more dangerous, but I agree the law is stupid. The other law that is asinine is you can put no tint on the driver and front passenger side windows although you can have limo tint (if you want it) on the three back windows.

Bad idea. If U hit a bump, U'll be reaching the phone somewhere on the floor. luck if U don't break the LCD

Re: Good Car Mount - any suggestions?

I'll be buying one of this fasho. Don't need to adjust the cradle because it's already custom fit for the touch. USB port is accesible. Power buttom is not pressed by the holder when in landscape mode coz U just have to tilt it. I think this is the best windshield car mount if the state permits it. Good find brother.
The only downside is putting the phone in and out of the cradle. this might scratch the phone housing isn't it?
