You mind clarifying your post a bit? We can't really help you when you give so little information.

Re: voice command 1.6 with 7/21 rom?

I have v1.6.19209 installed on my touch

I dont use bluetooth so that's not important for me. When I run MSVC application the speaker icon pops up, and I can talk to the phone. It does dial out like it should, however...

Incoming call notifications and out going call confirmations do not work (via the speaker). All I hear is a clean-static sound when the phone is trying to talk back to me. I know that normally I am supposed to hear a voice, but all I hear is clean static. So I think a wav file is playing, but it sounds like a blank hissy audio tape.

Of course all my settings are correct under the "voice command" settings

I am running the new stock ROM from Sprint, and really dont want to use a pre-cooked ROM from the kitchen, and this ROM I have now is just fine...I took out the built in cyberon dialer (within the registry also), and i am sure that is not part of my problem...

Any ideas? I hope I am close to getting this to work?

Re: voice command 1.6 with 7/21 rom?

I am using VC (Dharvey ROM) with the S9 headset. When I activate VC via the headset the voice is very low and in mono.If I activate it via the button on the phone the voice is perfect and in strero. In both cases once the command is executed I have no problem with the volume if I make a phone call or listen to music. However if I use it to ask the time, battery level, date etc. the voice is very low if the command was activated via the headset.

Anybody have a fix for this?

Thanks
