Syncing with Gmail or MSN CALENDER

Is there a way to sync with Gmail or MSN Calender? If not, is there a good free calender program to sync with the Touch.

There is a program called oggsync that will sync to google calandar. It works really well and is free, well free because it is a beta.

Re: Syncing with Gmail or MSN CALENDER

It may not be the most elegant way, but it certainly is a way that lets me do everything I need. I like to keep Outlook, Google Calendar, and my phone in sync with one another.
To do this I use Google Calendar Sync (http://www.google.com/support/calend...y?answer=89955)
This allows me to keep Google Calendar and Outlook sync.. then I use the typical ActiveSync to keep my phone updated with Outlook. Yes its a roundabout way of doing things... but since most things are updated on Outlook, it's not as difficult as it sounds. Updating things on the phone or Google Calendar adds an extra step... but it's a free and relatively consistent method of doing this.

Re: Syncing with Gmail or MSN CALENDER

I appreciate the responses and have checked into your options. Unfortunately, I don't have outlook so that kind of hurts my options. I like the oggsync, but $30 a year seems a little steep. After more research, I am hoping that google will make their sync available to wm users since it has been available for some time for the blackberry.

Yes, would be good. But, I wouldn't hold your breath for it. You're better off sitting in wait for Android.

An Over-The-Air sync solution for Google Calendar which can be integrated into Thunderbird's Lightning (guide).

Done.

Good luck,

Matt
