Touch keyboard only types numbers?

My sprint touch with the new official rom only types numbers when I try to use the touch 20 key or 12 key keyboards. I ran the rom and hard reset twice afterwards, let customizations run and it still shows only numbers. The only keyboard i have installed is PCM keyboard which works great, but I'd like to get the 20key working for one hand texting.

Any ideas?

looks like PCM KB might be causing it, this used to work fine in the old 6.0 ROM, wish it still did. I like PCM but not enough to use it exclusively.

Go to the INPUTS options and ensure "Turn on one touch symbol entry" is NOT checked.
