Re: Delete 3-sided cube, add folder
Are you bent on launching your fave apps from the cube? I spent a month configuring my cube the way I thought would be best. Soon, I thought of a better set up, etc. Changing the cube is not as easy as setting up a bona-fide launcher, which I think you'll find is the best solution for your RN apps. You could try a simple app like tdLaunch, or go all the way with UltimateLaunch. There's a huge thread in the Software fourm on UL. Info on tdL can be found here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...682#post310682 Another thing you can do is organize your most used programs, folders, documents, spreadsheets, etc. for efficient file exploring with an alternative to WM File Explorer called GS Finder Plus. This can be made to be finger friendly, launched directly from your Today Screen with tdLaunch, so that you get something like the following with just one thumb tap from home screen: ![]() Info re GSF+ is here: http://tinyurl.com/62eshh BTW both tdLaunch and GSFinder+ are freeware apps. Hope this helps, MrG |

Re: Delete 3-sided cube, add folder
Thanks, MrG. I truthfully appreciate your thoughtful post. Does anyone else have any ideas? I guess what i want to know is if it is possible to link to a folder in the cube/app launcher.

Re: Delete 3-sided cube, add folder
Yes, there are a number of ways you can make your cube app launcher link you to a folder. Here's one for example: Using a reg editor, navigate to...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/HTC/Biotouch/MediaHubMini/App1_1 and change the "Path" string to "\Windows\folderview.exe" This will link the top portion of the cube's media hub side to the same programs folder as if you had haul'd out your stylus and tap'd: Start > Programs |

Re: Delete 3-sided cube, add folder
Wow, thanks MrG! Very much appreciated. So you're saying that where "Sprint Music" is right now, the programs folder will show up? That's great! Any way to link to any other folder? For instance, if I made a subfolder under programs called "Skyscape," how could I link to that? I appreciate very much your help

Re: Delete 3-sided cube, add folder
Thanks to Musicman, I found the answer:
Just to add, you can also open any folder you want in File Explorer by making a shortcut with Path = \Windows\fexplore.exe Param = \*Whatever folder you want* This works great with SK Shortcut manager. Is there a way to delete the 3-sided cube portion and add another 6-sided face? Meaning that I would just have two 6-sided cube faces and the dialer? I appreciate any help you all can give. Trav |
