Hiding Incoming SMS preview

Is there a way to hide the preview window that comes up when recieving an SMS message? I figure there is a registry entry that can be changed, and I haven't had any luck finding it.

start\settings\personal\sounds & notifications
under text uncheck preview

I was trying to do the same thing when I got my new Touch. The only way I found to do is is by downloading a program called "Threaded SMS." It's main purpose is to group all your texts into conversations--which I love. But once it's running, you can click on the "Notification" tab and click on "Privacy mode."
