6.1 Issue - Notifications Turning Off

Ever since I upgraded to the official 6.1 ROM, my notifications (Settings>Sounds & Notifications) keep shutting themselves off. I will have checked off "Play Sound" or "Vibrate" for things like text messages, voice mails, e-mails, reminders, etc. They will work for a time, but the they seem to all deactivate.

For example, yesterday morning I re-selected them all to set up the way I wanted, it stuck all day, but then this morning I noticed I wasn't being notified of new e-mails. So I checked and sure enough, all my notifications were deactivated.

I called HTC support and they had no clue or suggestions. Does anyone here have any?

Thanks.

Did you install Phone Alarm or similar software? I know those will take over your sounds and notifications and you have to edit them from within those individual apps.

Tell me everything that you have installed and I will try to help you narrow it down.

You may have something turning them off. Which rom do you have and what extra software have you installed??

I use Spb PhoneSuite to keep up on all my notifications. It even reminds me every 5 minutes that I have a missed call, voicemail, text, and email.

Re: 6.1 Issue - Notifications Turning Off

Thanks for the offer to help.

I have installed the following apps:

Google Maps
Opera 9.5 beta
PHM RegEdit
TCPMP

The only registry change I have made is to enable the internet sharing (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing", delete
the string value named "Extension")

The only software that was not on before the upgrade was Opera 9.5, which also seems to change my keyboard to the standard WM keyboard.

Get the 1600 Opera 9.5 browser leaked from Diamond at xda developers. It's the best one out. Pretty much perfect on my Touch except I can't load cnn.com. (But others can.)
