phone call speaker rattles

I've noticed that when talking on my phone the sound has been sort of "tinny" compared to other phones I've owned, but sometimes when i talk to someone who has a deep voice, the speaker sounds as though it "rattles" a bit. Does anyone here share that same experience? Could this be a defective unit?

i've had 4 vogues and they all did it. the speaker on my son's Mogul sounds really nice. so i'm suspecting for some reason HTC put a cheaper speaker in the vogue.

I received a touch through insurance and getting that speaker rattle when making calls and talking to people. Fortuneatly I am getting a replacement.
