yea, tried to play some movies I downloaded and they're just as choppy, so you need to lower the quality of the videos to allow smooth playback.

I played a couple of avi's and they both came out pretty good. One of the pro's is the volume seems to be higher than my coreplayer. Con is that when in full screen mode the background always wants to come up - kind of annoying.
