GPS issues with official ROM

I've upgraded to every leaked ROM and I just did the upgrade to the official one that was posted on the HTC website and I'm still having issues with GPS being inconsistent. It seems that a soft reset actually "breaks" my GPS and the only way I can usually fix it is to run IOTA. That pretty much fixes it EVERY time. I've tried going into the location settings and turning that off and back on and that does nothing for me. Anyone have any fixes for this?

I also have a issue with the GPS. I can pull up Maps and such but getting direction it takes about 9-10 min to get the gps data then after 90% it says "weak gps signal" even tho its a strong signal and to make sure my "location" setting is on, and it is.

I only get really great GPS on custom ROMs... I don't know what the hell the chefs do to obtain this... but you would THINK that Sprint's ROM would have great GPS, since they are trying to market Sprint Navigation... hrm...
