Newest Sprint Rom and No Need To Use Primer for GPS!

With the leaked Sprint Romand the current official rom, I cannot get Google map to detect gps unless i prime it. Anybody else seeing this. Doesn't happen with Live Search, just google map. If I don't prime it , it gives me a no GPS detected error.
In google, i set GPS at com4 and 4800 baud.

BTW, What GPS Toggle are you guys talkinmg about?

I installed the official rom and have been getting very fast locks. Faster than my earhtmate and my old garmin handheld gps. It has proven to be very accurate and works in my house, although I have read the reviews that complain that it doesnt work in a garage etc.. It is a true gps! that being said, it has to get signal from satellites. Gps units usually dont work indoors, It is the nature of the beast. Also it does work in flight mode. Just another note it is nice to have ms voice command work correctly again.

i have to use astrolauncher with igo8
google maps and windows live search automatically start gps.

can you tell what version google map you are using. don't understand why I can't use it w/o priming.
